A gated community designed in collaboration with Singapore architects. The interiors are guided by a modern chic concept where extensive use of Italian marble and wooden trim furniture has been used over the expanse of over 4000sq.ft.
Since this gated community catered to mainly first/primary homes, the interiors had to be planned and designed accordingly. Clever use of areas had to be made with some dramatic panelling, upholstery and art. For the master bedroom we have introduced a frosted glass separator between the room, walk in wardrobe and the bathroom area, creating an illusion of a larger singular space. Using the advantage of the double height in the living room, vertical expanses have been covered in art and drapes. Certain portions in the drawing room, by using crystal chandeliers were cut down to add scale to the space.
Rest of the house including the plunge pool area was more on the rustic modern design style where the combination of tropical plants and sleeper wood was juxtaposed with modern edgy furniture. This fresh and homely feel to the design by bringing the green of the outdoors inside was the successfully achieved and a personal touch was added by introducing the clients family heirlooms and photographs as part of the accessories as a finishing touch to the interiors.
