A combination of two 3bhk. creating a 2500sq.ft. 6bhk which was converted into a large 4bhk creating 100% of purely usable spaces. This was an exclusive hi-end interior turnkey project as the client did not have the time to get into the nitty-gritty's of the selection process.
Post the first meeting a questionnaire was sent to the client for his family's requirements on which the form and flow of the apartment was based. It was further refined to achieve a homogenous space with respect to vastushastra and a clean line modern design. A luxurious master suite was created by demolishing an extra bed and bath. A study was added to the bed and a walk in wardrobe was created within the bathroom space. The wall between the dining and the family lounge has been removed to create an extensively large volume that connects the living space, also another large volume through a 5 foot passage. This visually made the space look much grander than it actually was. The entrance front wall is panelled in matt finished veneer to camouflage the door to the kitchen and the satellite room and also to link to two large voluminous room together.
The family lounge is equipped with a home theatre set where as the formal living space has a large screen mounted on the marble panel to make it look like the other art works found on the adjoining walls. All in all an art centric home that gels with the core materials that have been used as highlights or accents.
