A modern styled bungalow sized 10,000sq.ft. designed in the heart of Baner, about 15mins off the Mumbai-Pune expressway.
This project was designed in total ie. the architecture, interiors and landscape before hand-over. Architecture design is modern rustic by keeping minimal lines on elevation and using natural stones and wood for cladding. This home has 6 large bedrooms, each flanked by wooden decks, a sprawling lawn outside the formal and informal living room and a 800sq.ft tropical landscaped terrace that houses an outdoor pantry and barbecue as the client enjoys spending his time outdoors. The interiors are pure modern luxury with hints of rustic elements. Italian marble spans across the entire house. Certain highlight walls are clad in local Indian stone. Clean line Italian leather furniture broken by designer single-seaters encompasses large spaces such as the formal and informal living and dining space. Bedroom designs reflect the contrasting personalities of the family members but keeping in mind the common design thread that spans the entire house. As the client is passionate about photography, we have designed a dedicated hi-tech photo-lounge so he can house his photo equipment, a computer set up for his editing images and a 100" screen for him to display his work for discussions with his peers. The decorative lights and accessories have been procured from China's vast interior market.
10,000sq.ft. designed with specific sizes to convert unwanted spaces into usable positive spaces. Vastushastra was a critical study element that was amalgamated into the design at the nascent stage for the overall benefit and growth of the residents of this grand modern home.
